911foreknowledge.com Have Struck Gold!
While Leslie Raphael's excellent analysis of the Naudet film uncovers many disturbing anomalies and coincidences. The "N911 D0:07:24 mystery items on Tony's way to first day of work" page at 911foreknowledge.com/dunno.htm is absolute gold. Given DemocracyUndergrounds.com's attempt to ignor this and move on makes it even more intriguing.
The strange blue and white object that seems to be suspended above probie Tony's car is not a whatzit, its a WHAT THE FOCK IS THAT?!
Now that this and other weird anomalies have been found and exposed, the 911 coverup operatives had better just deal with it, because trying to bury it won't work. The blunders in the Naudet fakermentary are very obvious for all to see now they've been exposed and as they're in the public domain, they ain't going to go away.
Here's a crude reconstruction of what more of the appendage stuck over probie Tony's car might look like. Maybe someone in the film industry would recognize this object or perhaps with a bit of research it could be located in an equipment catalogue.

That object looks a lot like a logo from that 1980's cartoon, The Transformers. The bottom of The Decepticons logo matches that object nearly perfectly.

I should probably amend by post and say something like... "perhaps with a bit of research it could be located in a toy catalogue or cereal box".
Hi Ray, I just went back and rewatched the footage on my DVD. The object is only missing the 'eyes' in the 'crude reconstruction' picture, the actual pic from the Naudet film does not show as much of the object and it is on an angle (7:26 has the best view of the object), so it could have 'eyes' that we simply cannot see due to the roof of the car blocking the view.
If you hold a piece of paper up to your monitor over the picture that I linked to, you can match the parts that are visible in the Naudet film and the eyes will be not be visible.
This is not to say that it is definately the decepticons logo, merely it is still in the realm of possibility.
I didn't mean to sound too flippant about your suggestion PerpetualYnquisitive. I really was expecting the object in question to be identifiable by someone of the likes of Peter Jackson (after his re-make of KK) or Chris Carter (after his premier of the 911 script 191 days ahead of the real event, right down to using Boston Logan and the same scheduled flight time, give or take exactly 12 hours). Well not really but maybe someone in a special effects or rigging crew of some B grade movie.
The idea behind the "crude reconstruction" was to just extend the solid lines to where they would likely go. I had imagined the object must be 3 dimensional but the deception flag seems to fit unusually well. Is it just a coincidence that the sign in the frames with this strange object reads, "Audio Photo Video"? I think you may have solved this puzzle and it seems to me that this object may not have been an error but an inside joke. A joke on the the suckers in the war that this propaganda piece was created for.
Ray, the footage you linked to above, at first seemed to me to be just a seagull. I think the stabilized view you've got up at 911foreknowledge.com is more revealing. There it seems to have movements more like a blow fly. That along with the strange silvery highlighting on the lower section of the North Tower, again points to the possiblity that this is more footage from a model set.
Perhaps the producers of this "mock-you-drama" didn't have enough real footage and wanted to spice things up a bit with some "never seen before" material. No matter what budget they were working with, I can't imagine them going to the effort of building a model of Manhattan just for a few seconds of green screen creativity. More likely the set had already been built and was gathering dust after the filming of some movie with a blockbuster budget. Spiderman perhaps?
Maybe the question here shouldn't be - What caused the silvery highlighting on the lower section of the North Tower? - but - Why did the lower section need to be silvery? I have no film experience but could the answer have something to do with green screen special effects?
war on suckers, thanks for the vote of confidence on solving the mystery object affair, but at the same time I am not 100% convinced that the object is the decepticons logo, closer to 97% convinced. The object may turn out to be something else all together, though at the moment the cartoon logo is the closest match that I have been able to find thus far and I have looked at thousands of different pictures trying to identify the object.

Summary: 2nd Hit debris was planted at Church & Murray, the same intersection Gedeon Naudet was at when he already had his camera on for pedestrian REACTION at the INSTANT of the FIRST Hit.
(Not to be confused with the FAMOUS 1st Hit IMPACT footage by JULES Naudet at Church & LISPENARD, 11 blocks farther north). Also, Rick Leventhal of Fox worked the same Church-Murray intersection for his man-on-the-street interviews that morning, but BLEW OFF a guy who said the 2nd Hit was "A BOMB, NOT A PLANE."

Naudet Brothers: Accessories to Mass Murder
No plane impacts. No blue screens. Just a good old fashion illusion using a real plane fly by and explosives. Followed up with well planned propaganda and disinfo' campaigns.
There appears to be no live video of any planes hitting anything and all the networks appeared to be broadcasting the same live feed at the time of the alleged 2nd impact.Live Video of 2nd Event has the South tower hidden from view by the North tower and only shows a plane disappear behind the North tower followed by a fireball.
All video of alleged impacts were released later in the day! Doesn't prove they are all fake but it does leave pletty of time to do some editing and add any needed special effects.
So is it any wonder the Naudet snuff film is also a fake?
Who cares about pods, flashes, missing frames, camera movement... its likely all fake and there to waste time and distract from researchiing the real smoking guns!
